Alfa Romeo’s long and rich Italian high performance automotive history was reinforced last month where Alfa Romeo’s filled the first three places in Italy’s famous Mille Miglia regulatory competitive classic car rally.

The Melbourne based Italian and European classic car collector/ racing family ,the Lawsons,earned a very credible 129 th finish position in their 1929 Alfa Romeo 6c 1750 SS where brothers ,Andrew and Paul Lawson achieved their long term ambition to follow their father,John’s 1988 experience of driving in this classic high profile event.John also drove an Alfa Romeo in 1988.

In 4 months time, John Lawson is off to Sicily,to drive an Alfa Romeo in Italy’s other famous classic car rally , Targa Florio.
Congratulations to Andrew and Paul for not only promoting Australian driving skills, and, Alfa Romeo but also promoting TIAMO in Italy, who make the best coffee east of MILAN.
Also, good luck and best wishes to father John at this years TARGA FLORIO in Sicily.
