Lancia owners and enthusiasts from overseas, interstate and Victoria attended the biggest ever combined Lancia Rally and Display held in Castlemaine over four days from 16 to 19th October 2015.
There were two main display days:
- Saturday 17th at Bringalbit, the 140 year old Kyneton historic grazing propertyAnd on
- Sunday 18th at Castlemaine’s Western Oval where over 200 Lancia and other Italian marques were on display.
The Italian Auto Icons film crew was there on both days. Dishan Marikar’s photos captured Lancia’s rich and diverse history and the influence Lancia’s leading designer and engineer during the 1940-1950’s, Francesco De Vingilio has had on this retaining this iconic brands international popularity.
He was the first to introduce a V6 engine which was eventually adopted by most car manufacturers.
